This 2002 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab 4X4 was brought to our Spa for a "New Start".

Our client would like to enhance this truck with some upgrades, brake repair, exhaust leak repair, suspension lift, body and paint work, upgrade to a two tone paint, upgrade bumpers and headlights and replace the windshield.

We installed a Three Inch Suspension Lift and performed some needed brake repairs.

The exhaust manifolds were removed and new gaskets installed. The manifolds were cleaned and treated with a special high heat ceramic paint before being reinstalled.

The body was showing rust in several locations (box sides and bed flares, floor pans and front fender areas).

We began by removing the original front fenders and repairing holes behind both front tires (at the lower front firewall area).

New front fenders were sanded and treated to a coat of DOM16 anti rust gloss black paint on the insides before being installed on the truck.

The floors on both driver and passenger sides had holes that were repaired and treated with anti rust paint.

The rusty box was removed from the frame, sandblasted and several new metal patches were made, welded and installed.

Numerous hours of block sanding and body smoothing was next. After all of the bodywork was completed, this Dakota was ready for the lower section to receive two coats of a commercial grade anti chip rocker guard.

The lower section of the Dakota was painted a nice gloss black paint. The main colour was a special order Greyish White paint to compliment the lower black two tone treatment.

Re assembly of the Dakota was next. Custom smoked headlights, special painted grille, satin black front bumper and more.
